The lake has many natural springs, a dense Shad population, and an established cattail habitat for excellent fishing. It has been professionaly stocked with Bass, Crappie, Walleye, Bluegill and Catfish. Bass and Walleye average 2.5 to 3 lbs, with some much larger.
