The property is on a quiet street that is 10 minutes from The Wharf, lots of restaurants, movie theater and beach. There is a cove along the side the house and the Intracoastal Canal in the front. You can fish from the property with a license. Most neighbors put out crab pots. The property is converting from a bulkhead to a "living shoreline". There is no dock on the property. You can launch kayaks on the cove side. There are a wide variety of birds who live or visit the property, including herons, ospreys, owls, woodpeckers, bluebirds, and more. You can see dolphins daily in the cove. Occasionally you might see an opossum (beneficial), turtle, deer, manatee, snake (I've only seen brown or garter snakes), lizards, salamanders, frogs and toads. Close to Gulf State Park. Neighbors are very nice but they work so no noise after 9pm - including talking on the deck. Orange Beach Schools are very good. I'm only looking for long-term renters - non-negotiable. It's a great place to live! I don't live too far away and can be reached during the day. There is a golf cart path to get to the Wharf and a service road to get to local areas. Minimum 6 months. Dogs are allowed with proof of vaccinations and spay/neuter. Orange Beach has strict leash laws with expensive fines. Only indoor cats are allowed. There are too many birds for outdoor cats and my neighbors have large dogs. Must have proof of vaccines and spay/neuter. Trees and bushes are not to be cut down, trimmed or altered in any way. If there is an issue you need to contact me. Landscaping will be provided. No sub-leasing. Background check and credit check are required.
