I am moving to another city and sadly have to abandon my wonderful apartment in the Wedge/Uptown. It's a large 1 bedroom, 1 bath in a lovely turn of the century building. The building itself is very well kept with laundry and additional storage in the basement (one storage locker per unit, plus bike storage). There's also an onsite super who is very easy to get ahold of should you need anything. My unit is on the 1st floor (which is raised 1/2 story up) and in the back of the building, so it's very quiet. There are 3 large closets, a coat closet in the living room, a linen closet in the hall and a walk-in closet in the bedroom. The room easily fits king-sized bedroom set and then some. The kitchen is separate from the living room with it's own dinning area. The apartment has both south and west facing windows, so it's very sunny and bright. Rent includes all utilities except electric (usually $25/month) and a community water/sewer fee (about $25/month as well). Heat is included in the rent and this place is WARM in the winter. I typically have my radiators turned all the way off and an sometimes even have to crack a window, it's so warm. If you're not a huge fan of being cold, you will be very happy here. In the summer, the apartment tends to stay pretty cool. I never even bother with a window unit this summer. I just had a fan and that was good enough. Carport parking is available for an additional $75 month. This is available starting Jan 1. You'll be signing a brand-new one year lease, this is not a sublet.
