Purchased 2016. House was a wreck, and a classic “fixer upper.” Have since replaced every appliance: refrigerator, oven/range, dishwasher, microwave, water heater, HVAC, garage door, patio door. Installed installation in attic, new pull down attic stairs. Completed remodel of every room including paint, new light fixtures, new ceiling fans, propane gas fireplace, and new flooring. One room remains: the hall bathroom which we hope to get done in 2002. Every floor covering is new except the original terrazzo kitchen floor, the only one worth keeping. It needs regrouting. Outside the house has been painted, the leaky chimney repaired (4 times), 4 huge trees cut down. The lawn has no grass and needs work, the paver patio needs to be redone, and the fence needs repair. The one lovely thing about the back yard is the landscaping. It needs some TLC but there is some beautiful foliage Now that the repairs and remodeling are done, almost, I can say rhis is a wonderful, well maintained, modern home in excellent condition. It’s the perfect size for a single parent and 1 or 2 children. The neighbors are nice. It is 2 blocks from Challenger Elementary and Middle Schools. One
