The Neighborhood The Phillips neighborhood is centrally located, nearly equidistant to downtown and uptown Minneapolis, the University of Minnesota, and the Mississippi River. An added bonus is its location just 2 blocks from the Midtown Greenway bike highway and the hundreds of miles of our city's urban trails. The house is located less than 1 block from Abbott Northwestern and Children's Hospital, also making it ideal for any potential hospital employee wanting a comfortable home environment walking distance from the hospital. Phillips is a safe, mostly residential area that is also very diverse, as a guest you will see many of the cultures that represent Minneapolis all living as neighbors! Please check out the photos of the Global Market and the Village Market Bazaar to get a good feel for the area. Getting around A ride on the light rail, with a connection on a bus, is very easy. Bicycle paths are present and within a mile (The greenway is especially close, and a chosen exercise venue by many. Public transit is located just one block away from your front door, on Chicago Ave.) The tenant will pay heat, electric, internet and cable. Small pets are okay following a conversation, an additional monthly non-refundable deposit (think pet rent), and a little extra paperwork.
