Welcome to your urban oasis! The front house is a beautiful, historic home dating back to 1905. And the large, back studio and private porch rental is nestled into a backyard garden oasis with bountiful fruit trees and a chicken coup! It is a bright, peaceful space across the street from the Urban-hip neighborhood of Golden Hill with its yoga studios, coffee houses, Mexican bakeries and taco shops, as well as Krisp Market, Golden Hill Park & Recreation Center, upscale Kingfisher restaurant, Pizzeria Luigi's and the eclectic and historic Turf Supper Club. Walkable to downtown San Diego and South Park and a 5 minute drive to Balboa Park, North Park and Coronado Island. Your hosts, living in the front house, are a family of three with a 13 year old son and a lively Boston Terrier, Pokey. We are San Diego locals so we can help you find everything you need for a short, medium or long term stay! All utilities and Fiber WiFi are included. Lease length is negotiable. BASICS Owner pays for all utilities (water, trash, gas, electric & Fiber WiFi). Length of lease is negotiable. HOUSE RULES No smoking inside unit. Private back porch is open to smoke cigarettes or marijuana. Overnight capacity is limited to 4 people (ie. 3 guests) total. Please ask owner if guests plan to stay over 1 week. No loud parties. One pet welcome. Any pet damages to property paid by renter. Monthly or periodic housekeeping can be provided ($100 per cleaning). Coordinate with landlord to use shared laundry (in adjoining room behind mirrored doors, between home and rental).
