100 yards to the “El Portal” stairs down to the beach and the beach trail that takes you to the San Clemente Pier less than a mile to the south. Continuing north, Laguna Beach, Crystal Cove, Corona del Mar, Newport Beach are all within a 30-minute drive up the coast. Historic San Juan Capistrano is a 15-minute drive up the freeway. Disneyland & Knotts Berry Farm are a 45-minute drive.
