The place is cozy, quiet, everything is in great condition, and we are just a block from all the great restaurants/gyms/fun things of Davis Square. The Landlord only rents to professionals so unfortunately no young students can take over the lease. Phd/graduates probably would be fine. And no pets. We are looking for someone to take over our lease, and they have the possibility to continue renting with the landlord as long as they would like! In order to take over the lease you have to prove that you make at least 3x rent per month. If not, we can maybe do a sublease agreement. We hope someone could take over by anytime in December 2025 thru Aug 31 2026, and then as long as they would like afterwards. We can be flexible with the move out date, but would prefer sooner rather than later. We have lived here for over a year and love it. The place is fully furnished, however we were able to have the landlord remove those two big beds (as seen in the photos) and most of the other bulky furniture. It is possible to remove a few other items, but for the most part it needs to stay furnished. On the top floor of our place are two big bedrooms along with a good sized bathroom and laundry room. The lower floor has a living room with a big TV, a dining room, a kitchen, a 2nd bathroom, and an extra room that can be used as a 3rd bedroom or an office. Again, all of this is fully furnished, which is how the landlord would like to keep it. Wifi and water are included. Heating and Electric are not included, but are usually pretty low given the good insulation and modern air conditioning and heating units. For parking, you have to go through the city of Somerville and get a pass which is a small fee each month. Please reach out with any questions! I check my messages on here once a day in the evening. This place is quiet, cozy, but also located to the fun perks of Davis Square. The apartment feels more like a private home, with a private front door entrance. The unit downstairs has a nice old lady who is quiet, and the back unit is not connected to the house. Ideal for those who like their privacy and quiet.
