I'm not interested, thanks. We've never used a broker in 20 years] It's hard to really pinpoint this neighborhood it's sort of between Windsor Terrace, Kensington and Ditmas Park. But for no matter, for the past 20 years it's been heaven for us, let it be heaven for you too! It's a large 500 sq. ft. 2 with big bay windows facing the quiet street. It gets direct sunlight in the afternoon. The bathroom and kitchen was renovated and we have good taste (really, we do!) The kitchen is huge for a studio. Big closet. The studio is ideal for 1 person, it's not great for 2. We're a block away from the historic neighborhood of Ditmas Park with its amazing Victorian mansions, around the corner from restaurants and cafes (Lark, Wheated, Hinterlands, Der Pioneer, AM Thai and more that we can't keep track of.) We're a 10-minute walk from Cortelyou Rd where there are more cafes, restaurants and bars (Sycamore, Castello Plan, Lea, Mimi's Hummus, The Garden...etc etc), 3 health food stores, lots of grocery options including a big 24 hr Halal grocery store that just opened, wine stores...all that. And a 10-minute walk going the other direction to Windsor Terrace where there's more and a bar where they still smoke, at least when we went there - called Shenanigan's. Yes, Shenanigan's. The house is a limestone house on tree-lined block, right next to the Parade Grounds (part of Prospect Park.) We're between the Q/B train and the F/G, but each is about an 7-9 minute walk, or about a 2 minute bus ride which comes every 3-4 minutes. There is also an express bus (M1/2/3/4) nearby that takes you to Manhattan in 20 minutes during rush hours. We live in the neighborhood and lived in one of the units of the house for 16 years, so it's really special to us. We're artsy foody types who actually respond promptly if something needs fixing. Which of course it never will...because in this magical house, nothing ever breaks. Just kidding. No washer/dryer or dishwasher. 2 laundromats a block away. Sorry...no pets. Other folks have allergies. Available JULY 1st or AS LATE AS AUGUST 1ST. 1st month + security deposit due upon signing
