As the owner, I chose to live upstairs and rent downstairs. My floor plan upstairs has 4 bedrooms on the long/east side and I enjoy a 12x36 deck with access from the master bedroom and office side of the house. A roll-out awning provides shade for the deck. A spiral staircase by the master bedroom takes you down to the hot tub. The west side is an open floor plan kitchen/dining,living. The spacious kitchen has just been renovated. It's a favorite hang out spot. I've recently added a great 25x20 room in the attic. The first floor has an identical layout but in addition they have a fireplace and granite floors. Both kitchens have granite counters. The finished portion of the basement has one bedroom and a huge living room, a bathroom/laundry and kitchen. The unfinished portion is clean & dry and shelved for storage. The first floor has an internal stairway access to basement, mother/daughter style arrangement. Neighborhood Description McKinley Pl is only one block long, no through traffic. We are walking/biking distance to private Glen Cove beaches, Wellwyn wooded preserve and close by, we still have two farms for fresh produce.
