W.K.Kellogg built the Kellogg Inn Hotel and Apartments in 1926 to accommodate visitors to the Sanitarium across the street (now the Federal Center). It was purchased in 1980 and extensively remodeled for senior and disabled residents. Renamed the Kellogg Manor, it has 70 one-bedroom and efficiency apartments offering large rooms, solid construction and a sense of elegance.
