Lot 19 – Rainbow Rim Subdivision - This 7.11 acre view lot is one of the few remaining large lots that were created to provide a visual buffer around the town of Torrey. It is 250’ wide and 1200’ deep, and has a lovely view of the Torrey knoll and surrounding cliffs to the north. Views to the west are beautiful as well. Because the lot is nearly ¼ mile deep, it drops off on the north edge into the valley of Sand Creek. As a result, no one can ever build a structure that will interfere with the wonderful view to the north. In addition, the adjacent lots on the east and west both have homes, so views in those directions will also not change substantially. CCRs against subdivision will protect the entire neighborhood from any further development. There are several places on the property that are suitable for homesites. On the north end of the lot, it is possible to obtain a view of some of the features of Capitol Reef National Park. On the south end of the property, closer to the road, there will never be any adjacent buildings because those lots are already built out. There is water and power at the front of the property. I paid the power company to install a transformer dedicated to providing power to the lot, and a water meter is currently being installed as well. There will be no impact fees for building a home on this lot because I paid for a water hook-up for 18 years. This is a property that should be experienced in the first person. Feel free to contact me for a visit. Darrell – 801-419-4655
