Beautiful historic home built in 1915 in the Watts-Hillandale neighborhood of Durham 1.5 miles from West Campus and 2.3 miles from East Campus.Just 3 miles away from popular hangouts like Motorco and Fullsteam in downtown Durham! The rent is approximately $425-475/month + utilities. The rent is determined by which room you pick to be your room. If you want your own full bathroom, the rent would be $500.Utilities would be electricity, gas, water and Internet, and would be split 3 ways.Living room, dining room, kitchen and laundry area are on the left part of the house and a 41-feet long hallway separates that area from the bedrooms. High ceilings!We're very social and enjoy having people over for potlucks which you'll be welcome to along with your friends. We re very liberal (politically) and LGBT friendly. We do not have any gender preference but we don t want pets in the house, sorry. We hope to find someone that we become friends with and get to hangout!We will divide chores equally and figure out a schedule for it. We, as tenants, are responsible for yard maintenance and are provided with a mower by the landlord (not too much area for that around the house). The lease is for 2 years and it s under our name. We ask for a minimum of 6 months lease agreement and require a security deposit equal to the rent either before or with the first month s rent.
