You really don't find apartments like this for rent. We thoroughly renovated this condominium for ourselves and put in every amenity you could want while maintaining most of the historic detail. Floors are hand scraped distressed teak and natural slate. Bathrooms have Kohler fixtures, Toto dual flush toilets and the master bath has a 6x3 jacuzzi tub The kitchen has a Bosch dishwasher, garbage disposal, professional series 5 burner convection oven, and outside vented combination range hood microwave. Our closets are built with antique Chinese doors. We refinished the original brick walls and stone walls and exposed the original brick archways on the lower level We refinished the original fireplace and replace the hearth stone The central air conditioning system has an additional heat pump for more localized heating on top of the central heat. Additionally it has a dehumidification feature. There's a combination washer dryer which goes through both cycles without moving clothes. There is a laundry room in the building as well but we thought it was nice to have this as well. There are video intercoms upstairs and downstairs Upstairs you'll find the kitchen, living room, and master bath, Downstairs you'll find the bedroom, second bath and an additional front room which is perfect for a home office.
