The space is a duplex down. There is the kitchen, living room, dining room, one bath, one bedroom, and the storage room on the main level. Downstairs are three more bedrooms and the second bathroom. One space in the garage is included as is shared laundry on-site. Although the house is on a quiet, tree-lined street, the neighborhood is vibrant. The 'El' is just a couple blocks away. It's a Blue Line stop that goes out to O'Hare airport or heads directly downtown where there are transfers available to the other trains that can take you all over the city. It's difficult to list all of the interesting proprietors within just a half mile of the house. There are many restaurants (including Japanese, Mexican, Cuban, Italian, breakfast diners, fast food, etc), many bars (including breweries, taprooms, dives, even an arcade bar), groceries, bowling, and coffee houses. Also, just around the corner is a stand-up comedy joint and a live music venue. The apartment is currently furnished with internet included. If you'd like the apartment unfurnished, we'll accommodate that. If you want it furnished, at $100 to the monthly rent. One parking space in the detached garage is included. There is laundry in the building (shared with the other unit.) No smoking allowed indoors. There is an additional room to be used for storage, as well. We require a $45 application fee (paid directly to the vendor that does the background check) and your most recent landlord reference.
