    Teka Village is a retirement Mobile home Village where all the homes are double wide, permanently installed and tied down.This is a walled community of approximately 150 homes with security gate.  We are unique because when you buy a home here you are buying the house and the lot plus you become part owner of the Village.  There is a monthly fee of $45.  This is used to maintain the large clubhouse, swimming pool, streets , ponds, common grounds, etc.  We elect a board from the homeowners to run the Village and we have meetings to vote on necessary changes or problems.  We are only about 1 1/2 miles from shopping centers (one includes Walmart), post office, large Catholic Church, police station, etc. There is fenced storage space for your boat or RV located between the Village and the fire house.  The fire house is adjacent to the Village.  There are many golf courses with about 10 nearby.   My home is on a corner lot conveniently located across the street from the clubhouse and swimming pool.  The front windows on the house face west overlooking a pond for a beautiful view of the sunset.  The Clubhouse has a very large screened-in swimming pool  and sitting area for cookouts.  Inside the clubhouse is a kitchen and bar, TV room with a very large TV, pooltable room, office, restrooms and large entertainment room with stage.  There is also a sundeck outside by the pond.  We have many activities including dinner dances, bingo (weekly), potluck dinners, crafts, icecream socials, yoga, etc.  If you have a particular interest you can get it started.  For instance my husband and I taught stained glass crafting.  There are 4 large stained glass windows, 2 on either side of the front and side doors of the clubhouse made by the residents.  There is also a large community Senior Center with many activities about a mile from Teka.  The hospital and doctors are also close to the Senior Center.  We are about 13 miles south of Orlando.  The entrance to the Turnpike is just south of Teka which makes it a quick trip to Orlando, Disney, Universal, Seaworld and Legoland are approximately 20 miles west of St. Cloud.  Seaworld is not far, nearer to Orlando.   The house has 3 bedrooms.  Two of the bedrooms have closets that are the full length of one wall with a set of mirrored sliding doors. The 3d one is a large guest bedroom in which there is a queen size bed, fold out sofa bed, large chest of drawers, lounge chair, TV and small refrigerator.  The home includes most of the furniture. The large bedroom has the large stained glass window pictured with the 3 flowers.  There is a laundry room with cabinets, covered carport and unusally large shed/workshop.  The house has aluminum siding and the shed has cement siding which resembles the aluminum.  The house also has extra insulation that was installed originally.  There are linen closets in both bathrooms. Fromer's Travel selected Teka Village as one of the 10 best places to retire in the United States in 1995. If you have any questions please contact me.Additional property info: http://www.forsalebyowner.com/listing/EW06I?provider_id=28079
