A remarkable home originally built by millworkers near the old mill and transported to an existing foundation (which happened to fit perfectly!). where unfortunately the original owners had had their home burn in the 40's. (but there are some cool old random artifacts I used to find growing up there). Our parents bought the property and began building this space in the late 70's, finishing the second home in the 90's. The larger second home is made from timbers that came from the Rajneesh, A cult that was popularized in the nexflix special "wild wild country".. we in fact have a bunch of artifacts from that cult because our my father helped salvage and dismantle it. a great deal of hardware and the metal framework from the party barge are still on site (could be made into a new garage or additional structure possibly) and are of good quality, though old at this point and needing restoration.. a lot of the home needs work.. it was never fully done in the 90's and while my father had a great vision, and the bones of this home are bar none... it needs a person of resources and means to get it to where it needs to be. I think when the vision my father started is made complete it will be by far the best home on the block, possibly one the best places to be in all of alfalfa. it has an incredible layout.. so much space! so much capability! you can driving semi-trucks through the garage.. it has 3 doors and is over 30' long. trees! must see!
