The lease term would be month-to-month someone who plans to stay long-term would be preferred, but a shorter term sublease would be fine as well. The rent is $1300 per month, WiFi is $10 per month & utilities are split. Security deposit is $1300. You will have access to free laundry in the garage. Free street parking is always available near the house if you have a car. Sorry, but no pets, no drama, and no smoking tobacco inside of the apartment. Single occupant only! The room has a large closet and window, and comes furnished with a clean queen size bed, 4-drawer tall dresser, and nightstand. The main shared room in the apartment is fully furnished and includes a small kitchen table & chairs, desk, couch, refrigerator, countertop water filter, stove, and kitchenware. The bathroom is shared and has a shower water filter. The garage has been converted into a studio/lounge area, and has a couch, chairs, two desks, and projector & screen. You will have access to the backyard with a small fire pit as well. My landlord will be renovating the backyard, which will make it even better! The apartment is located about one mile from Ocean Beach, one block from the L Taraval MUNI stop at 26th Ave & Taraval St, and there are multiple bus lines (28, 29, 66, 7, 48) and West Portal Station that are all within walking or biking distance. There are many shops, restaurants and bars located within walking distance on Taraval Street from Ocean Beach to 19th Avenue. Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Safeway, and Lucky grocery stores are all a short walk, bus, or bike ride away. The neighborhood is very residential and quiet at night! I live in the room next to the bedroom for rent, which are both connected to the main shared room in the apartment. I consider myself a kind, easygoing, open-minded, creative, communicative, respectful guy looking for someone to share space with and co-exist in a friendly, positive manner. Ideally, I am looking for a roommate who does not work or take classes from home full time, and is trustworthy, respectful & clean. I have lived in the house for three and a half years now, and I love it here. My landlord is great, the two guys who live upstairs are quiet and respectful, and both of my next door neighbors are wonderful!
