Spacious 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment on the first floor at 2566 Kemper Road. Beautiful hardwood floors, steam heat, large closets and a huge living room with a lovely (decorative-only) fireplace. Ceiling fans, overhead lights, screens and blinds installed in every room. Front and back entrance for access from street, garage or outdoor covered parking. Great location! Short bus ride on the 48/48A to Case Quad and walking distance to Shaker Square and Larchmere. Wonderful park and walking trails at Doan Brook are just at the end of the street- you'll feel like you're in the middle of the woods, just a 5 min walk from home! On a bike, you can easily reach campus, University Circle, Coventry, Cedar-Fairmount and the Cedar-Lee district. The two yellow rooms (living and dining) have been repainted since most of these photos were taken- they're now a bright white (see the picture with the tree in it). We took the photo spheres when we moved in- they show the unit empty. We have a few items we're willing to leave for the next tenant if you like- we have two window A/C units and a big glass L-shaped desk - a great choice if you're going to use the second bedroom as an office. There's also a custom bookshelf, made of books, that's available if you would like us to leave it. Both are pictured. We just bought a house and have moved out of this unit. We're looking to arrange for new occupancy and the price may vary based on the arrangement- you'll end up talking to the landlord about the new tenant price or taking over our lease until July (apartment will be as-is in that case). All leases in this building go to July 1, so if you want to stay long-term, your next lease will go July 1 - June 30. The property manager has been doing renovations (kitchen and bathroom) in the building, but hasn't done our unit yet. If you choose to wait to move in and let them do renovations, the rent will likely end up being more. There are a few options, but we expect the rent to be somewhere in the $900 - 1000 range depending on the arrangement. We're very eager to get this apartment filled and will personally pay for the month of September for anyone willing to move in in September and stay until at least the end of June, when our current lease ends. That's a move-in bonus from us, not the landlord. The landlord does not accept any housing subsidy programs. Parking $30 car/month. Water, heat, and sewer included. Electricity, gas and internet (Spectrum available at this address) are billed to you. Trash is collected in dumpsters at the back of the building- they're close to this unit so you won't have to carry far. No recycling available on-site. Pets allowed and the nearby park is a great place to take them for a walk.
