This neighborhood was established in 1926 and consists of approximately 1000 homes with only 5 remaining from the original establishment. Many of the homes were built in the 1960's through the 1980's and since then most of the scattered lots have been built on, plus a new home subdivision of 250 homes called the Fairways has been built in the last 5 years. The original subdivision has no Homeowners Association, only a Landowners League, however, the Fairways Subdivision has a HOA.
