Once upon a time, we moved onto Shaw Avenue - a dear, quiet, charm-forward neighborhood hidden in the heart of Rockland proper. Although we loved our own sweet little house, we adored 26 Shaw Avenue from across the street. It sat nice and neat and sound on a grassy corner lot getting sun all day long. To us, it looked like the kind of house that would welcome you in, give you a comfortable place to sit and make you want to stay for a while or forever... and it turns out we were right. That is exactly the kind of house 26 Shaw Ave is and we can't wait to show it to you. The house has consistently had excellent stewards and the current owner is no exception; it has been well-maintained and loved with thoughtful upgrades and updates to the kitchen, bathrooms, systems and structure as a whole. What has also been consistent is a desire to keep as much of the enchanting originality of the house intact and honored - after all, its things like original pocket doors and old-growth wood floors that tell you what a house is.
