There is a full grocery store, a Mountain Peoples Coop of organic products, the awesome New Moon Bakery, it's own local bagel shop, a renowned Indian/Nepalese restaurant and a variety of other eateries, drinking spots and unique shops. There are forest hikes accessed from the house. You can see the ski slopes of Eldora Mountain Resort from the deck, which is a 10 minute drive.
