I have a private room, just built, outside of the main house (built in 2012, not 1940s) but you can have access to the house too (amazing kitchen area). You will have your own private entrance with your own shower/toilet. Looking for a clean, mature renter for my house in Clarendon starting now. Date is flexible since I can short term rent it. Very unique new house in the best part of Arlington. You will have access to the main house, kitchen, living room, and laundry room. It is a 20' X 17' room. Best for a Female as all the other roommates are mid to late 20s Female. The current tenants get the final say who is accepted as we all get along well. -All others rooms are taken. -FREE PARKING. You will get 1 permit parking sticker free but you have to have your car registered in Arlington -At this time pets are not allowed The house is large and spread out so you rarely hear anyone or see anyone, unless you are in the common area. All renters can use everything in the yard, i.e. the patio, grill, chairs. There is a gazebo next to the grill with string lights and outdoor fan. There is a dedicated beer/wine fridge with water/ice line. High end Casablanca ceiling fans in each room. Advantages over an apartment - no elevators, easy parking - no wasted time finding a parking place in a garage, privacy, yard, patio, can store a kayak or another big item safely, less noise, hose to wash your equipment, etc. Unique - almost no newer houses are offering room shares, corner lot with nice view and fenced yard (not many homes have a usable yard), and easy access to DC via Rt 50. Utilities are a flat rate for electricity, gas, water/sewage/trash, internet, cleaning service for all rooms every 2 weeks which takes about 8 hours for the entire house, lawn service, paper towels/tissues/toilet paper/some kitchen items, and other things. If you had all these services for an apartment with parking, it would be more like $450 per month. It will be a flat fee per person for $110. I subsidize the cost as it costs me about $170/person per month or about $900/month. Total for this room will be $1650 + $110 or $1760 per month Will collect free preliminary applications and most qualified applicants that are serious about moving in and we both think will be a good fit, will get screened by a professional management company for $35. A 30% commission of one month rent to realtors for bringing a prospective client that meets my qualifications, I will perform the lease and all other check in related activities.
