This seaside setting offers fantastic access to both natural beauty and the best of city living. Just north of bustling historic Ballard, North Beach is known for its beach, trees, birds, and marine life. It's as safe a neighborhood as you'll find in the city. Walk its meandering streets and catch views of water, islands, and the Olympic Mountains. Private beach access (5-minute walk). Low tides in spring and summer allow for a beach walk to nearby Golden Gardens. Watch Great Blue Herons hunt fish in the shallows, Ospreys and Bald Eagles soaring overhead, and sailboats catching some wind.
