This large ranch-style home is perched beautifully on top of a hill in a wonderful Old Colorado City street with great views of Pikes Peak. Wonderful neighbors. The exterior is mid-century modern and has a great garden with an extra area for dogs to run. Utilities are low due to no A/C, but a simple window fan and screened windows keep the place cool, in addition to fans in most rooms. It's not been an issue for me for 15 years. Two exterior paved patio areas are provided with a patio table and chairs. An exterior garden is available with excellent soil conditions and no pesticides used. Two fireplaces, each in a different living room area. Huge amount of storage is available and basement has 4 egress windows which let much light in. There is an exterior stairwell for ease of move-in/move-out access. The garage is a 2 vehicle carport. Additional parking for two vehicles is on the side of the house. Driving in the winter is a breeze if you take Uintah St., and come in the back streets (starting with 25th from Uintah) and wind around a couple a roads that I have no problem getting up in my tiny sedan. I seldom use Kiowa St. to get out of the neighborhood. The driveway faces Southeast and I seldom have to shovel snow. Fire pit is usable, but most ordinances do not allow burning. One year lease shall be signed by the tenants. Not more than 2 different family entities shall live at the residence. 3 persons from different families may apply. Absolutely no person is allowed to sublease any or all parts of the residence. This is a no-smoking residence. Smoking outdoors is allowed but fire hazards they create are tenant's responsibilities. Two pets max are allowed. Parking restrictions are 4 vehicles max including motorcycles. Utilities: Gas, electric, water, internet, trash are the tenant's responsibility. Tenant will be asked to maintain garden area by watering. Tenant will not be allowed on roof at any time.
