Power system includes a wind charger, solar panels, generator, set up with an inverter and batteries, so you can turn the water on and have running water any time. A three hundred gallon water tank is located in the basement, a community well is located in town for refilling your tank when needed. The cabin is heated by a wood/coal stove in the basement with a convective water heater as well as an electric. The kitchen is perfect with a surprising amount of cupboard room and a well designed counter layout with a propane cooking stove and oven. The upstairs sleeping loft is divided in two by the stairs and a wall so it comfortably sleeps two, a queen bed and a twin fit perfectly. There's an upstairs deck as well. The dining nook is cozy with a storage spaces underneath the benches, my dad, (the owner), built the entire cabin. He's been building for over fifty years, a majority of which he's been project managers, so he's experienced and skilled. He built the cabin to be extremely space efficient and functional as well as comfortable and quaint. The cabin is a mile off the highway, accessible by vehicle and the land is actually 2.5 acres.
