The interior of the main cottage was gutted, insulated with polyurethane foam (liquid gold), new windows, furnace and A/C, new plumbing (including fixtures), new electrical, all new appliances including a 2-drawer dishwasher and LG washer and dryer, tongue & grove paneling, the wood floors were redone. Between the garage and main cottage there is a guest cottage with its own washer and dryer and bathroom with shower. Over the garage is a prime get-away space. The entire floor (except bathroom) is carbonized bamboo, which makes it rock-hard. The entry has a sitting room,and off to the side an alcove that often serves as an extra bedroom (king bed there now). The entry takes you to a set of French Doors and into a large bedroom. The bathroom in the "loft" is amazing. High ceilings, tub/shower, tiled floor and a large vanity with a mirror from vanity to ceiling. The dock has a shore station for our boat is solar powered.
