A separate kitchen is fully equipped with dishes and pots and pans and has a small table to eat at. There is also a table for two on the back deck where you can look out over a large yard and garden. Hawks and owls frequent the yard as well as a variety of other wildlife. The house is 2.7 miles from Emory and is bike-able. Closer to home is downtown Kirkwood and Bessie Branham Park. Kirkwood is almost like a small town with several restaurants, a butcher and baker, wine shop, yoga studio, post office, library, gas, police and fire stations. The bakery made it to the NYT list of top US bakeries! IMPORTANT NOTE! I have to walk through a corner of your hallway to get to the washer and dryer in the basement so I am looking for someone who doesn't mind. I always text first. Guests/tenants are welcome to use the lovely backyard as well. There is a hammock, vegetable garden and composting pile. Last note: pictures are from a variety of time periods. The older ones show the correct furniture, the newer ones are the right wall colors (pale green and white) with a mixture of my current tenants furniture and my furniture.
