Under each of the couch units is storage for bedding, clothing, etc. There is storage under the built-in queen size bed in the upper bedroom container. The kitchen has an apartment size LP gas Range, and above the sink (behind the stained glass door) is a 3-tier dish drying and storage rack. It also has a Solar powered freezer and refrigerator. The small container on the first level is divided into two sides. One side has a dressing room that is designed to be remodeled into a bathroom with a standard size bathtub/shower, toilet, and vanity. Currently there is a custom vanity made from an antique treadle sewing machine with a dry sink. The other side of the small container houses the solar equipment. All the power for an apartment size refrigerator, lights and outlets is supplied by a solar array. (No Electric Bill!) There is a generator for backup power that is seldom used. All three containers are heated with Propane wall furnaces. The fire pit area has a small wood shed and sitting area with views of the Lake. There is a lower area that could be opened up for a storage shed or area for boat and other toys. The containers completely close up when the owners leave for extended periods. This property was built to share (through Airbnb) with others who want a true “unplug to recharge” experience. Only ½ mile from Highway 61, the Little Lost Containers are secluded with only woods seen between you and the spectacular Lake Superior views.
