The upstairs holds a third bedroom with skylight windows, large closet space and its own ensuite full bathroom with standing shower as well as an open loft living area outside the bedroom. Centrally located, less than 20 minutes to Northampton and the center of Greenfield; 20 minutes to Amherst and 25 min to Easthampton. Mirabelle's foundation has a separate walk-out basement apartment that is currently rented to a working single mother whose ten year old daughter is here every-other week. This apartment is connected to the main home but has a separate entrance, living area, kitchen and washer & dryer. Attached to Mirabelle is the owner-occupied home, affectionately called Ereignis, connected by a second floor breezeway. We often share a meal with everyone in the entire homeshare one or two times a month. The owners are two working professionals, one is currently going to school and the other works at a local non-profit. A one year lease is required. Smoking is only allowed at the far side of the driveway, 50' away from the homes. Cats and small pets are welcome, unfortunately, we aren't able to welcome dogs at this time. Owners live on the property and take excellent care of the homes. Utilities are split and cost less than $100/month for electricity and wifi if you would like wifi included. If you want to and are able to safety cut and split firewood, the utilities can cost less than $50/month financially. Propane gas for stove and hot water is included in the rent. An on-demand hot water heater was installed recently, which makes it so that everyone can take a full hot shower not matter what water appliances are running. The home is equip with mini-splits for a/c and additional heat. The gardens are in an interim year on their way in returning to gorgeousness. The back field is kept as a wild meadow with minimal trimming. Trash/recycling/compost are the tenants responsibility to take to the Whately transfer station which is open on Tues & Saturdays. Snow plowing of the driveway is covered in the rent but shoveling & salting the walkways needs to be cared for by the tenants. If you need assistance with either waste disposal or walkway snow removal, the owners are happy to discuss having these cared for if they are outside the tenants capacity.
