Neighborhood Description Warwick Neck is a part of the City of Warwick, Rhode Island, United States. This section of city was first settled in 1660s and played a prominent part of the early history of Rhode Island including colonist skirmishes with the native American chief called King Philip. The area is a peninsular into Narragansett Bay and was the site where colonists launched raids against the British stationed in Newport RI. The area was also believed to be active site for bootleg activities during the Prohibition period. Location of Aldrich Mansion â??[1] (built approximately 1896 on 75 acres), home of former U.S. Senator Nelson W. Aldrich (whose daughter Abby wed John D.
