We are 5 miles from Highway 24 which is close enough. People don't pass through Moraga going somewhere else. Crime stats are lowest in State; Property values continue to rise even in recession because we have voted 'no growth' consistently and the community supports the schools both with money and parent volunteer/involvement. There is extremely limited new housing built - 1 or 2 homes/year. Moraga is close to San Francisco, Monterey, Berkeley - but a safe, quiet place to come home to.
