Very well maintained one bedroom/one bath unit in active 55+ Community. Just steps from the Clubhouse, heated pool and marina. This villa is tiled throughout with the exception of the master bedroom which is wood. The kitchen has been remodeled with stone countertops, it is an eat-in-kitchen and has plenty of light because of its two windows. One being very large. There is also a large window in the great room and bedroom with a smaller one in the laundry room. Walk in closet in master bedroom and a small linen closet in the bathroom. Laundry room could be made into a 2nd bathroom. There is room for a shower and toilet. The community is centrally located - just 2 miles to Siesta Key and its beautiful beaches; 6.4 miles to downtown and the bay front at Marina Jacks where you can hop on tours of the area or take some fishing trips. Downtown has lots of little theatres, fabulous restaurants along with many scenic attractions. The community is within 15 minutes of 3 shopping centers plus there is local shopping just a few blocks away. The community is also on the county bus line, so there is no reason for you not to get out and take part in all the activities in the area. This 55+ community was very active before Covid 19 hit this area. And they will be again as soon as this Virus is under control. They had 3 or 4 parties a month, some at lunch time, some at dinner and some after dinner. Cards or table games were played every evening but Saturday, They have a boat club, a golf group, an arts & crafts group. Also they are big on Shuffleboard, with a tournament every year followed by a luncheon. Shuffleboard will stat up again in January, Tai Chi continues outside on Tuesday mornings and some parties have started up again on the pool deck where they can wear masks and have space between. The Community welcomes two pets, no taller than 15" at shoulder. It also has fishing docks at the marina which has electric and water should you decide to become a boater. Great Community!! Great Location!! Come on in!!
