This home is special…truly. The only way to know that is to a) come and see it for yourself; or b) ask anyone living on Inverness Court about it. Either way, you will come to understand that it really is a HOME…a home waiting for an equally special family to embrace it and fill it with your best memories. Built in 2000 by Steve Eudaly (who even used his impressive handiwork to finish the basement a few years later), this home showcases four bedrooms upstairs, one of which was made complete by a dream en suite bathroom with a heated floor, remodeled from scratch and completed in November 2022 by the incredibly gifted Terry Wildeman (who also did the addition noted below). The following month, these four bedrooms were newly carpeted. While renovation to the en suite was being completed, every original window upstairs and on the main floor were replaced with Pella brand insulated windows with built in blinds, that make for a stunning element to each room. The hallway connecting the upstairs bedrooms is a continuation of the hickory hardwood flooring gracing the main level and was the finishing touch on a 2018 200 + sq. ft. addition to an already open floor plan connecting a now remodeled gas fireplace in the living room via a stone backsplash accenting the gourmet, enlarged kitchen/dining area. The kitchen area hosts a 9’ x 5’ granite island counter w/ dual sink and a Bosch dishwasher. The kitchen is framed by beautiful white cabinetry with glass fronts, accent lighting, a gas cooktop, GE electric range, Samsung fridge/freezer and an expansive array of storage for the most accomplished chef to feel right at home. The front porch entry to the main floor received a new Pella French door that welcomes you into the home. A panel of windows facing west along the back half of the house peer onto a secluded backyard and make for a really unique view. The main floor is completed by a half-bath, a laundry room with great storage and sink, as well as access to a two-car garage. The final space on the main floor we use as a great office, but was originally designed as a formal dining area. Finally, off the kitchen is a sliding door which accesses a quiet and partially tree-covered patio and backyard with a raised garden plot on the south end and new stone-encased flower bed underneath the kitchen windows. The yard is guarded by a row of mature-growth trees on its western boundary and has a view to the south of a pond and a portion of the Kanza Nature Preserve. Leaving the main floor and descending to the basement gives way to a sewing/craft nook, family room with gas fireplace insert, ¾ bathroom, custom cabinetry and a fifth and final bedroom/guest room. There is also a small unfinished space that is perfect for extra storage. Bottom line, this home is everything noted here, but these words just don’t do it justice. Again, come see it or ask the best neighbors a family would ever want. There is a reason this home has only one owner…come let yourself be convinced you should be the second!
