We are renting out our unfurnished home located on a quiet residential street in a desirable neighborhood. The house is approximately 1260 sqft on a 6000 sqft plot, and has a 2 car garage. It has central heating and cooling, as well as a gas fireplace, gas range, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. It was originally a 3 bed 2 bath house . The master and an adjacent bedroom combine into a much larger master suite. The master suite has french doors leading into a backyard lined with trees against the back wall for privacy, and an automated sprinkler system. The second bedroom is normal sized, but the master is the size of two bedrooms. The rent includes regular biweekly landscaping. All other utilities are the tenant's responsibility. The house comes under Silicon Valley Power for electricity and PG&E for gas. The garage has a NEMA 14-50 240V/50A socket, useful if you have a plug in vehicle. No additional equipment (e.g. EVSE charger) is present, just the socket. There's a nice front loading GE steam washer and gas dryer in the garage. The house is cable ready and coax wired in the living room and bedrooms. Currently actively subscribed to Comcast by owner. Tenant will have to obtain their own internet service. For applicants with young children, the house maps to Sutter (900+ API) Elementary school region, unlike the newer more expensive apartments around Central Park, which have recently been mapped to Central Park Elementary. The middle school is Buchser (800+ API). Among private schools, St Justin is a 5 minute walk away, and Harker High is 1.5 miles away. Tenant is entirely responsible for confirming enrollment on time. The location is a quiet street within walking distance of multiple restaurants, Safeway/Starbucks, CVS, Ross, Chase / Wells Fargo branches, Central Park & Mary Gomez Park/Pool, Central Park Library and the Santa Clara Swim Center and Tennis courts, and a daycare. The Santa Clara Farmer's Market every Saturday is 2 miles away. Easy access to San Tomas and Lawrence Expressways; the I-280 exit, the Kaiser Permanente center and the new Apple 'spaceship' campus are all 1.5 miles away . Short (10-15 min) commutes to several other company offices within a 5-10 mile radius. A short 2 minute walk gets you to the bus stop for the 81 bus to the Santa Clara Transit Center (Caltrain/ACE/CapitalCorridor/Airport Shuttle), among others. For bicyclists, the San Tomas Aquino trail begins from El Camino Real less than a mile away. This is currently a smoke and pet free home, but tenants with pets are certainly welcome to let us know about their pet; upon agreement, a small per-pet monthly fee will apply depending on type of pet. A pet deposit may apply based on initial deposit.
