    What's special

Complete Inside-Out Restoration of our classic Victorian Apt Building. The Result is My Wife and I Gave New Life to Our Vic (SEE PHOTOS). Much is modern, but we kept the Vintage Victorian look and feel. The kitchen sparkles with a new granite counter top, tile back splash, mahogany wood cabinets, and new appliances including a new gas stove, a new frig, and a new built in microwave oven. The rebuild included sound-proofing the building--double ceilings, double walls, double paned windows, rock wool insulation, and beautiful floor tile over 2 inches of concrete. The result is you can't hear your neighbors knock on their walls. Street noise is nearly eliminated as well. The apartment is air-conditioned, but with 10 foot ceilings, tall windows, and ceiling fans, you don't need it. The apartment is a light and airy but also warm and cozy even on the coldest and wettest days. The bathroom also sparkles from the floor tile and tile back splash. The bedroom is sunny and bright with lots of natural light from the tall windows and 10 foot ceilings. The apartment is designed for easy living and easy maintenance. You can also lounge and entertain on the outside deck. The complex is gated, secure, and private. It has an on-site laundry with a new coin-op washer and dryer maintained 24/7 by the WASH Laundry Company. You get one parking spot in the well lighted, and secure lot. There are electric sliding gates front and back operated by a hand held remote. The landscaping is welcoming and maintained by professional gardeners. Regarding utilities, you pay for gas, lights, cable, and internet. We pay for water, trash and garbage removal, outside security lights, and gardening. The apartment is available now. We're asking $1,400 rent, a one year lease, and a $1,400fully refundable deposit. Nonsmokers and no dogs, please. Indoor cats are welcome. Other pets are on approval. Our address is 2783 K St., Apt 2. Please drive by. Look for the classic two story Victorian building. Please note that the neighborhood is mostly houses, not apartment buildings, and is still pretty much as it was when the structures were originally built. It's a nice feeling. Telephone 858-945-4853 (Cell and Text) 858-483-7849 (Home) The attached photos show several interior and exterior views. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: PROXIMITY: We are close to I-5, I-94, I-163, I-805, and I-15. Also, trolley, and buses are close. Oceanside, Escondido, Chula Vista, and Imperial Beach are 30 min by freeway. El Cajon, La Mesa, and Lemon Grove are 15 min away. These areas can be reached by trolley or bus. Mission Valley & Fashion Valley are 15 min away. The airport is 10 min. Cycling is similar. NEIGHBORHOODS:- Golden Hill, Barrio Logan, and South Park. Close to Downtown, the Navy bases, and Balboa Naval Hospital. Our neighborhoods are famous for being relaxed, and walkable, and full of Old San Diego. We are 10 min from the nightlife in downtown, North Park, Hill Crest, and Little Italy. SAFETY: Our Vic was unoccupied during our 3 year rebuild. Most days we worked late. Because our workers left by 5 PM, we were alone for several hours after dark. We had no problems--no break-ins, no vandalism, no graffiti, no issues of any kind. On the contrary, our neighbors were helpful, respectful, and kind. We have only good things to say about this neighborhood. Owner pays for water, sewer, trash collection, outside lights, and gardening. Tenant pays for inside lights, cable, and internet.
