This is one of the best kept secrets on Hilton Head. Everyone works on upgrading homes and improving them and maintaining them. People are friendly but don't get nosey. The community pool is pristine with Mismosas, hanging baskets, and grass as opposed to sterile concrete. Homes range from 300K to 495K. Owners are all ages so there are children from 0-25, retirees, deputy sheriffs, lawyers. It's eccelctic and has variety. Majority of owners are not from Hilton Head originally, but rather: Illinois, Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Tenneesee, New York, Iowa, MN. There are a few owners from Costa Rica and Argentina. About half are working and raising families. The homes are modest because the first ones were built as "second" homes for people in the north wintering on HHI. But Mystic Dr. and Marblehead have housing built in the late 1990s. This neighborhood is landlocked by The Perserve, a conservatory on HHI. There is also a small but beautiful lake/pond. Crime is extremely low.
