    What's special

One of a kind, award-winning designer loft brought to market for the first time at the Landmarked Eagle Warehouse, at 28 Old Fulton Street, overlooking Pier 1 of Brooklyn Bridge Park. This true 3 bedroom, 3 bath home with sweeping views of the East River, Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge was meticulously renovated and seamlessly combined to create an appx 1,815 square foot home by Studio Modh. The renovation won the AIA Brooklyn Merit Award and was featured in Brownstoner. Natural light from Western exposures filters across the massive entertaining space and nearly thirteen-foot-tall ceilings. The layout options are endless, and the main space is currently configured as a living room, dining room, open concept kitchen and office/study area. Using reclaimed, fifty-year-old white cedar from iconic water towers in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, custom millwork pieces were designed to introduce a warm flash of color and Brooklyn history at a generous bench in the entry foyer, a screen wall that masks a work space and reading nook, and a twenty-four-foot-long in-built floating desk. Dimmable, invisible LED lighting casts a soft light around the entire space. The chef's kitchen was thoughtfully designed with custom built storage, handcrafted open shelving, and top of the line appliances: a Bertazzoni induction hob and convection oven, a Liebherr refrigerator, and in-built LED lighting. The kitchen shelving and kitchen island were handcrafted by a local artisans from reclaimed black walnut. The bedroom wing features three generously proportioned rooms. Each is light, airy and filled with iconic views of NYC's most recognizable landmarks. The Master Bedroom is complete with floor to ceiling California Closets and built-in wall storage to maximize the space. The corridor to the bedroom wing features a magnetic wall, sound-isolating tactile panels, and sliding pocket doors, thoughtfully designed for both play and rest. This wing is currently configured as a playroom and shared bedroom with en-suite bathroom, but the playroom accommodates a queen bed and boasts magnificent corner views over the East River and Fulton Ferry landing. The loft features three full bathrooms, including two en-suites and one full guest bath with a Dornbracht shower system. The Master Bath is the crown jewel. Outfitted with a double Dornbracht rain shower and tub filler, oversized Duravit bathtub, Catalano sink, Toto toilet, and Geberit mechanism, no detail was overlooked. Smart storage was flawlessly combined into the modern aesthetic with custom made cupboards, a Robern medicine cabinet, and a storage bench topped with the same reclaimed water tower wood as used in the living room. Select details of the building's original structure are revealed by pulling away ceilings to express the old beams and exposing the original cast iron columns. An oversized utility room and coat closet, outfitted with a Bosch Washer/Dryer, was custom designed with plenty of built-in storage. Hardwood floors, pocket roller shades and Nest thermostats are the finishing touches on this stunning home. 28 Old Fulton Street is a pet friendly elevator co-op in the former Eagle Warehouse. The site was originally home to the newspaper the Brooklyn Eagle, edited by Walt Whitman, and was later purchased by the Eagle Warehouse & Storage Company. Occupying a prime footprint in DUMBO, this home is at the crossroads of Brooklyn Heights and the historic Fulton Ferry Landing. Amenities include a newly renovated lobby, video intercom, full time doorman, on-site management, live-in superintendent, video intercom gym, storage lockers for rent, bike storage, and laundry in the building. Located only minutes from the Brooklyn Bridge Park and Pier 1 ferry terminal, providing easy ferry access to Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens, and with convenient access to the A/C, 2/3 and Ftrains and the B25 bus.
