If you turn left there is access to the Bay for your kayak or canoe , turn right and you're just steps to a lifeguard protected Ocean Beach (June 20 to Labor Day from 9 am - 5 pm ) . This quiet Cottage backs on to 12 Acres of undeveloped wetlands, perfect for the nature lover or just for listening to the birds. The house has an eat in kitchen fully stocked with everything you'll need for dinner with the family. The living room features cathedral ceilings, the perfect spot for a relaxing beach vacation. And because you're close to the beach, it's easy to pop back to the house as needed. Minutes from the center of Beach Haven with it's shops, restaurants, amusements and waterpark.The Township even offers a bus shuttle on the main blvd. During the summer there are free concerts in Beach Haven (1 mile away) on Wednesday nights 7:30-9:00 PM , and at the south end (½ mile away) every Thursday night 6:30- 8 PM. Holgate's beaches are less crowded in high season and a great place to fish in the spring and fall. The kitchen was completely renovated with new cabinets, granite counter tops and appliances , and open to the living area. The master bedroom has a Queen sized bed . The second bedroom has a Twin day bed and trundel. the third bedroom has a Queen size Couch that opens to a bed with a twin size bunk above (creating additional quiet spaces during the day). The Living room features a Queen sleeper sofa, for those guests who just can't stand to go home. Ceiling fan in 1 bedroom is great for those nights when you just need a little breeze, but there is AC as well. Hot air Heat and a working fireplace for those Fall Nights. Fenced in yard, out door shower as well as a large storage shed for bikes and beach toys.
