We have a newly remodeled mother-in-law suite that is attached to our home for rent. It has one small living/kitchenette area, one bedroom, and one bathroom with a large shower. There is a separate entrance on the side of the house and in the back of the house so you do not need to come through our part of the house at all. The only thing shared is the washer and dryer in the garage. You have parking in our driveway or caul-de-sac, and all bills are included except cable. The apartment has a side yard area that is private for you, although we do have a huge backyard that sits on the first canal of Clear Lake. Must be okay with dogs as ours loves to play in the yard. Renter pays for cable. Renter must be ok with dogs and may not let dog out of fenced in yard. Renter must be ok with owners having social gatherings inside and outside the house with friends. Renter must get authorization when hanging things on walls (I.e. television).
