Friendly, quiet shared home seeking one female housemate for a room in the downstairs unit of a unique duplex-style property. The home is occupied by 4 adults (3 women and 1 man), ages 30s 50s, and one pretty great rescue dog named Jim. The household is fairly independent, so while everyone is friendly and respectful, it's generally a calm and low-key environment rather than a highly social one. A major part of the home dynamic revolves around Jim the dog's comfort and stability. He's an anxious rescue dog who does best in a calm, predictable environment with people who are patient, emotionally steady, and genuinely comfortable around sensitive dogs. We're looking for someone who understands that anxious dogs sometimes need space, consistency, and respectful energy rather than a lot of stimulation. Being truly dog-friendly is essential not just tolerant of dogs, but willing to help maintain the peaceful environment he relies on. We are seeking a female housemate only. One member of the household is in long-term sobriety, so this is not a party house and we're looking for someone whose lifestyle is compatible with a quieter home environment. Light/social drinking is okay, but heavy drinking or drug use would not be a fit. Because of the shared setup and household dynamic, the space is best suited for someone who works primarily outside the home rather than full-time remote work. If you think you'd be a good fit, we'd love to hear from you and learn a little about you. Lease is month to month. Non-smoking household. Possibility for a dog.
