The wall between the homes is soundproof and you can't hear each other. The neighborhood itself is really quiet. The windows are very soundproof so you don't hear much. The main bedroom does not share a ceiling with the floor of the second floor. The neighbor on the other side of the fence is also quiet and a delight. Safety Very safe home with the option to use the Simplisafe Security system installed if you'd like. There's a street lamp just outside the driveway and there's ample outside lighting for nighttime safety. The front gate has a latch you can put a lock on if you'd like and there is a side gate that was installed for additional security to prevent folks from accessing the backyard. It can also be locked. Transportation / Location 7th street, East Side main drag, is a short bike ride or walk. Drive is about 5 mins. Downtown is 10mins away by car. There's a bus stop two blocks away that takes you to the heart of downtown. Lots of scooters around. Nearest coffee shop is Levercraft or Flitch, both amazing. Veracruz tacos is 10min walk in a food truck lot. Boggy Creek trail, about 3 miles round trip, is just 5 min walk away. No smoking. Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. Renter pays all utilities and is responsible for basic landscaping up-keep. There is someone who comes 4 times a year for larger landscaping maintenance.
