A good home in a nice neighborhood, plenty of room, and a lot more that can be added. The living room, dining room and main floor bedrooms have hardwood floors that could be beautiful with some refinishing work. The attic was converted to two bedrooms which each have a spacious closet. Those two rooms and the stairs leading up to them are carpeted. The ceilings on the main floor are 9 feet high, and the basement has ceilings that are tall enough to put in a drop ceiling if you want to finish it. There is a lot of space in the basement which is very useful, but a small amount of water gets in sometimes during particularly bad rain storms. At worst, if forms a couple of small puddles. There is currently no sump pump or French drainage system. The appliances are nice and in good shape. The roof was replaced in 2015 with a "50 year" roof. The garage is standing... and that's all I can really say about that. There's a shower in the basement, which might count as another quarter bath, I guess? This house is very close to Garfield elementary, less than a 5 minute drive to Hy-Vee, close to a bike trail and a frisbee golf course. And if you enjoy the nightlife, it is within walking distance of Rookies Sports Bar and Bley's Tap. There were no pets and no smoking in this house.
