Upstairs, the two bedrooms are spacious and quiet. There are good-size closets in both and a linen closet and coat closet in the main hallway. Downstairs offers plenty of space and storage options. The backyard is charming year-round, with spring being a highlight as lilacs, roses, and ferns emerge. A large apple tree provides shade and a place for birds. As spring turns to summer, the beautiful green foliage of St. John's Wort is dotted with wonderful yellow flowers. It's a great space to sit and be still. The neighborhood is quiet and feels like a small town. It is a lovely area, full of hydrangeas, azaleas, Magnolias, poppies, cherry and apple trees that blossom in the spring. The walkability of the neighborhood is marvelous. We can stroll to Ballard Locks and watch the herons soar to and from nests in the rockery as seals and sea lions splash in the waters below.
