He was easy going, saw the value in the house, helped us out with flyers, even helped us with the cost of our Septic riser, whatever we needed he was right there, always available, so professional and a kind, decent man. We found a wonderful buyer and their lender just happened to be Kathy Hite at First Security Bank in Port Orchard, Wa. Kathy was our lender as well last year and I cannot recommend her enough - there is not a better person you could find to help you buy a house. We are thrilled to pass our wonderful little house onto this buyer. I have no doubt that this buyer will continue to improve the house and have future equity because they understood all the work we put into it. I loved, loved, loved this area and this house so it was really important to me to find the right buyer and the right team of professionals to get us to closing. First American Title in Gig Harbor is our closing office and we chose them when we first listed the house. We set up a whole house home warranty for the buyer from First American Title so they will be covered on anything that might need repairs. Home warranties are so affordable and I cannot understand why more sellers or their agents don’t make sure new buyers are set up with one full year of coverage. So to all the other agents who were horrible and totally unprofessional and all the other buyers who were rude and ignorant in their dealings with us - YOU MISSED OUT, SHAME ON YOU.
