Beautifully renovated rowhome in Charles Village. We've so enjoyed living here, but we're relocating for a job. This apartment is such a joy to call home, and here are some reasons you might say the same: The details. Hardwood floors and ample lighting set a real mood. The living room faces west and gets plenty of sunlight during the day. At night, it's easy to direct the light and create a warm atmosphere for dining at the bar or getting cozy on the couch. The kitchen features a nice skylight, and there's a Viking oven/range to continue all your pandemic baking habits. The double-headed shower is a delight. And one key opens both the common front door and the apartment door without giving anyone in the other two units access to your apartment. Location, location, location. While living here, we have frequently walked to: JHU Homewood, Wyman Park Dell, Eddie's Market (soon to reopen as Streets Market), HoneyGrow, Towson Hot Bagel, CVS, Safeway, Dutch Courage, Fadensonnen, Bird in Hand, Charmington's, Parts & Labor (soon to reopen as John Brown General and Butchery's second location), 29th Street Tavern, R House, The Dizz (may it rest in peace, and soon to reopen as Lily's). Deck life. The large deck off the bedroom has been amazing, especially during the pandemic. You can see downtown if you look southward. During the summers, we've gardened out there, and it's been a nice happy hour place for us to unplug after work. Basement storage. Can't fit everything in the unit itself? There's a storage space that's all yours in the basement. There's also some shared workout equipment down there and enough room for two people to take a virtual yoga class. Things to note: *Though we're excited for our next adventure, we're still in a lease here, and we're hoping you'll take over the remainder, which will be just enough time to fall in love with the place and decide, like we did, to stay long-term. *We'll be taking everything with us, so this is NOT a furnished rental. *We take Covid VERY seriously. We are both fully vaxxed, but we're still figuring out how we'll handle in-person showings, if they happen. In the meantime, we'd be happy to provide a FaceTime/Zoom tour and answer any questions you have. *If you've seen the inside of Charles Village walk-ups, you know that the staircases can get tight. Have no fear about moving your belongings in, though, because there's a wide staircase off the back of the deck which allows you to bring in bigger/heavier items much more easily. This is a perfect place for: JHU students, young professionals who want a walkable city experience with the added bonus of a residential block, and anyone who appreciates living in a tastefully-designed, unique space. You won't find another apartment like this in Charles Village. The property owner is incredibly responsive and definitely invested in maintaining the property. We've never had a major issue while living here, but he has responded same-day when we've mentioned something small that needs to be addressed. Tenant pays for all utilities, except water. No pets allowed.
