2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment available for 1 year lease in a pet-friendly building. I'm taking the jump and moving in with my boyfriend, so I'm posting for the landlord in order to get out of my lease. The place is mostly full of young professionals and students (SMC and UCLA are closeby). Everyone is very friendly and there are two Trader Joe's nearby. Vons and Ralphs are also within walking distance.I commuted via bus, and this area has a lot of bus stops nearby (I wouldn't have picked the place if it wasn't commuter-friendly!). This is kind of perfect for students, as both rooms come with their own bathroom. One unit has hardwood floors and the other unit is carpeted. Water and trash are paid by the tenant (I've averaged about $50 per month, which I split between my roommate and I). Unit is on the second floor of a two-story building. One month's rent secures the unit (depending on your credit), and rent is due on the first. If you'd like to bring a dog or a cat, the management asks for an additional $500 as a pet deposit, which is refundable upon moving out. There's a laundry room in the building and the apartment manager is very nice. I can typically show the apartment on weekends.
