House was weatherized in 2003 with insulation and blown in insulation outer part of windows were weatherproofed also at that time.We also converted from fuel oil to natural gas in 2003 with a convertion of fuel oil furnance and electric hot water tank. The mudroom converted to diningroom in 2007, Kitchen remodeled in 2007. Sliding glass door added on back of diningroom and we replaced the window and 2 solid exterior doors. In 2004 we replaced the front door that in in the livingroom also. Interior of house was painted in 2006. Walls in basement were painted with a sealant paint. Neighborhood Description We are on a quiet dead end road. Our house sits on .38 acres surrounded by about 80 acres of field behind that is active farmland. The house is the 2nd to last house from the dead end so there is very little traffic. Which is great if you have children or trained pets. East Rude street is located abouve the Marshall Track which is a subdivision but we are not part of that. The nice feature we have is we are on the line of the Village of Weedsport, we are actually in the Town of Brutus in which we are able to benefit from public water and sewage. Without the Village tax bill each year.
