Our family designed & built our sweet 750 sq. ft. loft in 2012, on the third floor of our 1906 colonial house. The first thing EVERYONE notices is the plentiful light - made possible by 30 thoughtfully placed skylights and windows. The hickory floor keeps the space bright, and this open floor plan includes everything 1 or 2 people could want: a bedroom "nook," full kitchen, sunny seating area with a view of the western horizon, dining area, work space, 3/4 bathroom with heated floor, and a gas fireplace controlled by a Nest thermostat for heat. A single window air conditioning unit cools this SUPER-INSULATED loft with ease. You'll also have plenty of extra storage space in the 7' x 12-1/2' bedroom, located on the second floor, right at the base of the loft stairway. In addition to the loft & storage bedroom, you're also free to use the front porch for relaxing, or even the secluded side yard. You'll even have one off-street parking space! The home owners live on the first two floors of the home, and the loft is accessed via a shared central staircase. What's nearby? You're a 10-minute walk to downtown Cabot Street with cafes, art galleries, churches, great restaurants, and the historic Cabot Theater. Or walk east and you'll arrive at sandy Dane Street Beach, with gorgeous water views & a large grass park. Or make a stop at Beverly Commons for evening outdoor concerts in the summer. Several grocery stores are nearby (Whole Foods, Stop & Shop, Shaw's). Or head to beautiful, historic Beverly Cemetery for a quiet stroll or run among old growth trees and colonial-era headstones. Lots of history abounds! Owner pays for all utilities and wifi. No smoking or vaping. Quiet hours 10 pm - 7 am. Tenant will follow COVID protocols in common areas as determined by owners. No fireworks of firearms on premises. Tenant will assist with shoveling snow.
