The heart of the home is also on this level: a bright and open living room with a large sectional couch, wood-burning fireplace, area rug, coffee table, and a dining table that seats six. High ceilings and big passive solar windows bring in lots of natural light. The kitchen has a generous laminate countertop peninsula for extra prep space, tons of cabinets, and all the necessary appliances and utensils.
